The National Health Insurance Fund NHIF has extended the current contract for a period of one month effective 1st of January 2022 .The insurer says that the move is aimed at according more time to service providers to review the new contracts. The health care providers who wanted the contract revoked said they were not consulted in coming up with the terms including costs of procedures.
