‘How long will we use hashtags!’ Kamene Goro’s cry for DJ Evolve
DJ Evolve has been going through the toughest six-plus months of his life after he was allegedly shot by Babu Owino on the neck.
The shooting left him paralyzed and unable to talk. What’s worse he fears he may never use his hands again that were his tool of trade because the act left him unable to move his arms.

Watching him try to speak on NTV yesterday night during an interview with Dan Mwangi got many Kenyans upset who started another hashtag against this inhuman act.
Kamene Goro on the Morning Kiss could not help but express her anger against the injustice surrounding DJ Evolve’s case. No one has been arrested and the case has been dragged for months.
“We are doing badly when it comes to how we pick our leaders. Just when life was starting to make sense for DJ Evolve, it took someone one night to destroy his plans/future. We stood by and did nothing and watch the justice system fail us. How long will we use hashtags as someone teaches our children on social media. And then we applaud him for that good job. We will then go ahead and say him paying Evolves hospital bill is fine. Please, You can not put a price on someone’s life.” Kamene said.

Adding that as the youth, we need to elect the right people in government because we hold the majority of the votes.
“We need to rally together and make better decsions when it comes to electing who is going to sit at the top. Once bitten twice shy doesn’t seem to work for us because we seem to be electing the wrong people all the time.” She added
Callers this morning were sad that in Kenya the justice system has once again failed and that the one in power has an upper hand while the ordinary mwananchi suffers in pain. No money, no justice.

DJ Evolve is currently at home receiving home care as he hopes to one day wake up to do what he loved and enjoyed doing. It was not only his passion but something that paid his bills.
