'I sold the song dundaing to King Kaka' Kristoff reveals

Kristoff aka Mluhya wa Busia dropped by the Kiss FM studios on Breakfast with the Stars with Shaffie Weru and Adelle Onyango.

He was late because he flew into Nairobi from Busia in a chopper.

So as a successful artiste has anyone ever written songs for him?

my brother has written for me because he is the only one I can trust

Kristoff is a father to a very cute and adorable baby boy who turned 2 recently. This new chapter in his life has brought change in his life. He says he has now become more responsible.

fatherhood is great. its taught me to be on the low. I always wake up and say there is someone looking up at me. I might wake up lazy but I need to work because there is someone who needs to eat

He mentioned that he sold the song Dundaing to King Kaka for a pretty penny. His fans on social media could not believe it because that song is a hit. Over 3 million views on YouTube.

Kristoff then opened up about the most money he’s ever made and how he spent it.

First big paying gig was 50k in 2014. I thought the guy was joking because it’s never been like this. It made me work harder because I saw there is money in the game and I squandered all the money

Seeing as he is among the top Kenyan artistes, Kristoff says he has made one mistake that taught him to produce more music.

the biggest mistake I made in music was staying a while without making music which took me aback. I learned to just be consistent

Shaffie mentioned that just after Kristoff and Gabu traveled to Nigeria to learn how the industry works, they returned and have improved on their trade.
