Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga has promised to seal all corruption loopholes if he clinches the country’s top seat in the August general elections.
Speaking during his tour of Nakuru County Sunday, Odinga said corruption has been a major impediment to the progress of the nation and needs a determined leader to deal with it.
While promoting his Azimio la Umoja campaigns to the residents of Rift Valley, the former Prime Minister made various stops where he restated his resolve to rid the country of runaway impunity.
“I have been the country’s Prime Minister and I know what they do. I know where they still from. I know where the loopholes are, that is why they easily get to our National Treasury and steal our money,” he said
Raila affirmed that his government will root out everyone involved in graft irrespective of their social status.
He further promised to reduce the cost of fertilizer to help improve agricultural output for farmers. Leaders who accompanied him rallied locals behind Azimio la Umoja which they said has the interests of Kenyans at heart.
