FC Porto shot-stopper Iker Casillas has been discharged from hospital after suffering a heart attack during a training session.
The Spanish and Real Madrid legend was admitted at a medical facility on Wednesday morning, May 1, due to acute myocardial infarction at the club's PortoGaia Training Center in Olival
The Portuguese side have since issued a statement confirming Casillas' discharge ahead of the celebration of his 38th birthday later this May.
Meanwhile, speaking to journalists outside the medical facility, the shot-stopper disclosed he is unsure "what the future holds" for his football career, insisting he needs to rest "for a couple of weeks or a couple of months".
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that FC Porto shot-stopper, Iker Casillas, is set to quit active football after suffering a heart attack.
According to calciomercato.com report citing TVE, the Real Madrid legend, who was still under medical observation after emergency is not expected to play active football again.
