DAILY POST: JOMO GECAGA is the head of “wash –wash business” in the country – UHURU should fire him as his Personal Assistant – ROBERT ALAI Politics 02:26 Friday March 1, 2019-Revered social media commentator, Robert Alai, has questioned why President Uhuru Kenyatta sacked Sport Cabinet Secretary, Richard Echesa, and replaced him with Amina Mohamed.
In a mini –Cabinet reshuffle announced on Friday, Amina Mohamed replaced Echesa who was sacked for being involved in “wash -wash business” Prof George Magoya was appointed as Education CS.

Now, Alai asked why Uhuru sacked Echesa for being involved in “wash- wash business” while he is yet to sack his Personal Assistant, Jomo Gecaga. According to Alai, Gecaga is the head of “wash -wash business” in the country and Uhuru should fire him if he is committed in fighting corruption. He said Uhuru will be pretending to fight corruption if he fails to sack Jomo Gecaga. “You fire CS Rashid Echesa but leave the President’s PA Jomo Gecaga. Jomo is the head of wash-wash in the country. These other conmen are just his students. We must fight corruption if we are really serious. Let’s not pretend,” Alai wrote on social media on Thursday.
