Kariobangi Sharks to face Arta Solar in CAF Confederations Cup

Kenyan Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks will hold its last training session on Monday evening at Kasarani Stadium ahead of their CAF Confederations cup match encounter against Arta Solar of Djibouti slated for Tuesday at the same venue.

The Sharks who will be making their debut in the continental showpiece will be hoping to replicate the same performance they did against Sofapaka in the FKF Shield final as they seek to claim a win at home.

It is the First time for both teams on the Continental Scene, with each hoping to emerge victorious tomorrow, before the second leg fixture which is slated for December 4th in Djibouti.

Kariobangi Sharks Head Coach William Muluya has expressed optimism ahead of his side’s CAF Confederations Cup clash against Arta Solar FC.

However, the William Muluya led side is expected to have a busy season, which starts with a CAF Confederations Cup 1st Leg fixture against Arta

After an impressive campaign in the 2018 Kenya Premier League, Kariobangi Sharks went on to beat Sofapaka in the Sportpesa Shield to claim their maiden trophy.

Next week, Sharks face League champions Gor Mahia in the Super Cup, before visiting AFC Leopards for their first game of the 2018/19 SportPesa Premier League season on December 8.

The return leg will be staged in Djibouti on 5th next month.

Meanwhile, Gor Mahia will be playing against Big Bullets of Malawi in another match encounter.
