Kenya earned 155 billion shillings from tea sales in 2021, which was 15 billion shillings more than what was earned the previous year. The increased earnings comes against a backdrop of reduced tea production in 2021 as compared to 2020 with the tea board blaming poor pay and management for reduced production.
