Kenyans share their theory why Richard Echesa lost his job

A video doing rounds on whatsapp and other social media, is perhaps one of the theories Kenyans believe could have led to the sacking of Sports CS Rihard Echesa.

In the video, Echesa speaks harsh words daring to be sacked. In the video he says ‘kama Raila ndio amekuwa appointing authority in this country I want to tdare you TInga wherever you are, come and sack me.’

He continues saying’ Kuja unifute, come and sack me’ he repeats.

According to some media reports his love for political events, at the expense of attending events involving sports, heritage and culture, got him into trouble with his boss.

At one time, a visibly angry President Uhuru Kenyatta openly criticised Echesa in the presence of Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga during the president’s tour of the Nyanza region where Kenyatta was irked by the poor state of the mausoleum of the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
