Vincent Kompany has penned an emotional open letter to Manchester City fans after announcing he will be leaving the club after 11 years.
The club confirmed his departure in a statement on Sunday morning and the 33-yeard-old took to Facebook to bid farewell to the club's supporters.
Kompany has made 360 appearances for the reigning Premier League champions since joining from Hamburg during the reign of Thakshin Shinawatra.

In his 11 years at the club, he won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and two Community Shields.
