Leaked! Game Of Thones spoilers make their way to Twitter

With just over three weeks left until the final season of Game of Thrones premieres, details about the Season 8 premiere have already leaked, and fans are not happy.

A Redditor/YouTuber dubbed TheRealFrikiDoctor posted a lengthy video that reveals, in great detail, the entire Season 8 premiere episode, but the video was promptly removed from YouTube.

While the video was removed, several of the details have already started to leak out onto Twitter, and fans are not pleased.

‘Via Reddit, it sounds like the first episode of Game of Thrones S8 has leaked online,’ said London-based journalist Chris Mandle, who later added, ‘HBO took the leakers video down too so they’re obviously cracking down.

Another Twitter user, MadMakNY, was dismayed that he was getting spoilers in his timeline from people he doesn’t even follow.

Another user, AdelaidaFall, responded to his tweet, stating, ‘tell me who they are, I’m running like it’s the damn AOTD after me. I don’t want to be spoiled!’

A fan who goes by the Twitter handle WinterfellBucky said, ‘I have not waited almost two years for Season 8 of Game of Thrones to have it spoiled three weeks before it airs so if I see any leaks imma throw a fit.

Another Twitter user dubbed heathen_king was rather blunt, stating, ‘Motherf***er if you discuss spoilers for a certain show on my timeline today, consider this your warning: you will be blocked.

Some, though, seemed to side with TheRealFrikiDoctor, claiming he isn’t doing anything illegal.

‘And most importantly – he isn’t doing anything illegal. The person who feeds him info broke a contract, but I guess as a journalist he doesn’t have to reveal his sources,’ said Twitter user Pawel94231756.

Another, though, malik_eva, thought what TheRealFrikiDoctor was doing is ‘distasteful’ to the fans.

‘Don’t think what he is doing is illegal but I do think it’s distasteful towards the series especially with only 6 Episodes left! am a fan of his opinions but I don’t appreciate any mixed in leaks either, so she is speaking of a loyal fan’s point of view, both have valid points,’ she said.

TheRealFrikiDoctor is no stranger to having his videos removed from YouTube, at the behest of HBO, stating on a new Reddit post-Friday morning that his videos were removed in Season 6.

‘In season 6, after reviewing the case, YouTube restored all my videos, so I will start the process again,’ he said.

While the videos were promptly removed by HBO, twice in fact, TheRealFrikiDoctor took to Reddit on Friday morning, weighing his options about where to re-post the videos.

‘Meanwhile, I get everything sorted, I’m thinking of uploading the video to two different platforms. I’m deciding which ones,’ he said.’

Game of Thrones kicks off its eighth and final season Sunday, April 14 at 9 PM ET on HBO.
