AFC Leopards team manager Tom Juma says the big cats will be counting on new signings Paul Were and Bonface Mukhekhe’s experiences to bolster their performance in the Kenyan Premier League which has so far been underwhelming as the final phase of the season takes shape.
Leopards who raced to beat the April 8 deadline of the mid-season transfer window to bring on board Mukhekhe and Were also promoted youngster Augustine Odhiambo from the AFC junior team on a three-year deal.
At the same time, KPL champions Gor Mahia snapped Hashim Sempala from Tusker FC on a two-year deal.
