Luanda MP Chris Omulele has sounded a warning to those who are hanging on ODM party and yet they are not the registered members.
Omulele while addressing Luanda residents said there are people who are clinging on ODM party politicking around in Vihiga county yet they are not members of the party. The MP’s attacks were aimed at Governor Wilber Otichillo’s chief-of-staff Noah Okaya who has been moving around in the county claiming to be ODM county coordinator and working on behalf of the governor.
He asked the political scavengers to either register with the party or they be stopped from using the party to gain political mileage.
“We have people in Vihiga county who are hanging on ODM to gain political mileage and yet they are not registered members. We are giving such people time to decide and register with the party or we lock them out,” said Omulele.
Omulele said he has opened registration exercise in ODM Luanda offices located at Ekwanda where those who want to join the party can access the registration book.
He gave those who want to register with the party up to December 31 2019 to have acquired their registration membership before the exercise is closed.
“We have opened our registration exercise at our ODM offices in Luanda at Ekwanda for those people who want to register with ODM. We shall close the exercise of registration December 31,” said Omulele.
The Luanda MP asked Vihiga residents to register in large numbers with ODM party so that they can grow the party together. He said ODM still commands popularity in Vihiga county and Western region and it is good for people to come and join Kenya’s giant political party
