Bomet Township Chief Rueben Ngetich said some students were dancing and others kissing as the music played in the background when police stormed the house.

Used condoms were also found in the house.

Police say most of those who arrested are candidates who recently completed their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination.

15 girls are from Njerian Secondary School in Bomet.

The woman suspected to have supplied the students with alcohol and food during the night party was also arrested as four other students managed to escape.
