Saumu Mbuvi is crying after her father in law was shot in broad daylight by police. Many Kenyans have been crying in the news against police brutality as we have been seeing in the news. Kenyans bleeding other left crippled all because of police brutality. When the 7pm – 5 am curfew period started as announced by Uhuru Kenyatta, many were injured after heavy beatings. To make it worse, a small boy was allegedly shot by police yet he was in his balcony and not outside. Such cases saw a lot of backlash against the police and just when we thought they calmed down, Saumu Mbuvi exposes then once again. Taking to social media, Sonko’s daughter ranted after her father in law was shot in broad daylight by police. Her cry is not that this should stop. It came closer home and she is saddened by that the country is turning into at such trying times.
“Police brutality must and should stop. We are tired! Stop taking advantage of your power to intimidate innocent citizens…” Saumu posted
Adding,
They shot my father in law today yet it was still daytime. Police brutality must stop! Every day we get cases of them shooting innocent citizens and nothing is being done. It’s time this ends
There is not much information on how Saumu’s father in law is doing but we do wish him a speedy and painless recovery.
