- Teemu Pukki's hattrick against Newcastle fired him to the top with four goals

- The Norwich star is joint-top alongside Man City's Raheem Sterling

- Paul Pogba is yet to open his account after missing a penalty in Man United's 1-1 draw against Wolves

The second round of matches of the 2019-20 Premier League season has already concluded, presenting no major shocks in results after most top teams picking points.

Man United were the last team to play in the round as they were forced to a 1-1 draw by Wolves at Molineux on Monday night, August 19.

However, on individual level, players are already in the hunt for the prestigious Golden Boot award.

And just like last season where the prize was shared among three players, this season also promises to be a competitive one.

Liverpool pair of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane both finished on 22 goals for the 2018-19 season along with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to have the award split three ways as a result.

All three will no doubt be out for glory again having already found the back of the net, two matches into the new season.

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero, who came up just short with 21 last time around, Leicester's Jamie Vardy who had 18 and Harry Kane are the other players expected to compete for the award.

However, the top guns must be wary of Norwich's Teemu Pukki who scored a sensational hattrick to catapult him to the top of the charts.

Raheem Sterling is the other clear contender of the Golden Boot as he has already bagged four goals in two matches.
