Uhuru has fired scandal ridden Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa.
"In accordance with Article 152(5) of the
Constitution, as read together with Article 152(1)(d) of the Constitution, the
appointment of Mr Rashid Echesa Mohamed as a Cabinet Secretary has
been vacated," Executive Order
3 of 2019 read in part
In the President’s Executive Order 3, 2019, Amina Mohamed is the new CS for Sports and Culture while KNEC CEO Prof George Magoha has been nominated to head the Education docket.
