Ruto Asks For Forgiveness From Uhuru – GhettoRadio 89.5 FM

Deputy President William Ruto has this asked for forgiveness from President Uhuru Kenyatta for failing him during their tenure.

Ruto acknowledged that he may have failed to meet Uhuru’s expectations hence the request for forgiveness.

“We have tried our best we may not have done as much as you have expected of us, we have not been as united as we should have been, we have failed you in some areas specifically me and so I ask for your forgiveness,” said Ruto.

“I also know that serving as Deputy President, I may have fallen short of expectations of my boss his excellency the president, my good friend, I ask for your forgiveness,” he said.

Ruto also stated that he had forgiven everyone who had hurt him and wanted to go to the elections free of the debt of forgiveness.

Ruto also suprised the nation after he broke protocols and invited Azimio Leader Raila Odinga’s Running Mate Martha Karua to speak.

Karua also called for peace and asked leaders to practice what they  preach.

“Our constitution acknowledges the supremacy of God. We pray that moving forward, our actions match our words and as leaders, let us compete with ideas and not insults,” said Karua.

Raila was not present at the prayer breakfast and was represented by Martha Karua.
