Ruto pledges to set aside Ksh 50B for small businesses

Deputy President William Ruto says if elected his Government will set up a fund to support micro and small scale enterprises.

The Deputy President who toured parts of the Rift Valley said his leadership will seek to uplift the standards of living in the Country.

The Deputy President who is leading the Kenya Kwanza troops in a series of meetings in Nyandarua, Narok and Nakuru counties said he can account for his service to Kenyans while serving as Minister and Deputy President.

Ruto said he will alleviate economic hardships facing a majority of Kenyans through his Bottom up economic model saying his administration would bail out small and micro enterprises by setting up a Ksh 50 billion bailout fund.

To Nyandarua residents, the Deputy President promised to set up a potato cold room in the county and bring down the prices of fertilizer and other farm subsidies to enable them reap the fruits of their labor.
