Safaricom announces five hours of M-Pesa outage
Safaricom has announced a five-hour M-Pesa services outage tomorrow June 18th as from 0000hours to 0500ahours in routine maintenance.
The M-Pesa services under maintenance include all M-Pesa services including airtime purchase.
“Our M-Pesa services shall be undergoing planned maintenance on the morning of Thursday 18th June 2020, between 0000 hrs and 0500 hrs. During the maintenance, all M-PESA services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable,” according to the company statement.
According to the company, the timing of the maintenance has planned to result in the least inconvenience to its customers.
