DAILY POST: See what DP RUTO has said over the 63 billion dams scandal that has implicated his Chief of Staff, KEN OSINDE? This man has no shame at all! 04:30

Wednesday February 27, 2019-Deputy President William Ruto has rubbished the ongoing fight against corruption targeting those who looted a whopping Sh63 billion meant to build dams in Kerio Valley.

Venting on Twitter, Ruto, through his director of communication, Emmanuel Talam, sensationally claimed that the fight against corruption was being used to fight the DP. He urged the investigative agencies to focus on fighting the real corruption and stop fighting Ruto. It's time to separate the fight against William Ruto from the fight against corruption. It will save the little resources available,Talam stated. Talam’s sentiment comes just hours after it emerged that Ruto’s Chief of Staff, Ken Osinde, was a director of a company that benefited from the Sh63 billion irregular tended for construction of two dams in Kerio Valley. DCI George Kinoti, who is overseeing the investigation, has summoned two CSs close to the DP – Treasury’s Henry Rotich and Water’s Simon Chelugui-to shed light on the multi-billion scandal.
