DAILY POST: See what happened to Jubilee Senator, ISAAC MWAURA, in Kisumu recently? No wonder he has changed his mind about RAILA and the 2022 02:50

Saturday January 12, 2019-Nominated Jubilee Senator, Isaac Mwaura, has once again lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition Leader, Raila Odinga, for their March 9 truce.

He said that the reconciliation between the two leaders through the now famous handshake has restored peace, calm and order in the nation, terming himself one of the beneficiaries of the same. Mwaura recalled his recent trip to Kisumu County where he was joyfully received despite hailing from Central Kenya and being in the Jubilee Party; something that was rare to encounter before the handshake.

He noted that unlike previous years where Uhuru sympathizers would be faced with hostility in the Opposition backyard, he was happily welcomed and given a memorable reception. "I was recently at a Kisumu supermarket on my way to Busia and despite being a member of the rival party, people stopped their operations and surrounded me in reception," he said.

The Jubilee lawmaker declared his support for the handshake and vowed to deal ruthlessly with anyone opposed to it going forward.
