ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has instructed the party to reverse the decision to de-whip Narok Senator Ladema Ole Kina from the Senate Public Accounts Committee.
This after the Senator agreed to withdraw the case he had filed against ODM after the party removed him as Chairman of the Committee.
In a tweet, Raila said Ladema had surrendered the seat and apologized over the same.
Ole Kina won elections to chair the powerful Senate committee after competing against ODM Party’s choice for the position Kisii Senator Sam Ongeri.

Minority Leader James Orengo however gave a notice of motion communicating the party’s decision to de-whip Ole Kina from the Public Accounts Committee and the Senate Business Committee.
Ole Kina subsequently moved to court through lawyer Nelson Havi to challenge the party’s decision saying he wouldn’t be intimidated.
Last week however, while contributing to a motion to remove Deputy Speaker Kindiki Kithure, Ole Kina declared his support for ODM and its Party leader Raila Odinga accepting he had erred by questioning the Party’s decision. “I want to assure my party leader that despite all the rumours you are getting, I’m loyal to the core.” He said.
And on Tuesday he visited Raila at his Karen home where it appears the two agreed to bury the hatchet and continue working together.
