Comedian Zeddy hits out at those who never helped Kasee

Popular comedian, Zeddy Zainab, is a woman in distraught. This is after losing a colleague and a friend in Joseph Musyoki Kivindu, popularly known as comedian Kasee. Kasee died on Sunday on his way home and his body was found in Nginduri, Kinoo. According to the chairman of Comedians in Kenya Society, Ken Waudo, first reports indicate Kasee drank a poisoned drink. “FIRST REPORTS INDICATE HE DRANK POISONED DRINK, BUT POLICE ARE TO GIVE COMPREHENSIVE REPORTS OF THE SAME.” “HE WAS FOUND ON THE ROAD HEADED HOME WHERE HE WAS OVERWHELMED.” He said.

Comedian Zeddy, taking to her Instagram page, indicated that Kasee might have been suffering from depression, something that has been eating up Kenyan comedians for a while.

An angry Zeddy, hit out at people who are now quick to post Kasee’s photo and typing ‘R. I. P’ yet they were not there to help him when he needed a support system.

She warned such people to ever post her in the event of her death, adding that she would rather have her fans post her photos.

Zeddy went ahead to point out that the recent comedian deaths are worrying and stated she will let the public know, what is it that is eating them up to a point of taking their own lives.

She promised to post photos and names of those allegedly taking advantage of the comedians.

She wrote,

Last year, the comedy industry lost Njenga Mswahili to depression and Zeddy on her post, asked to be informed of Kasee’s whereabouts so she could help him.
