'That same night!' DJ Kalonje spills how he moved on quickly after breaking up with fiancée

Dj Kalonje is a renowned matatu deejay who earned his fame through his hit mixes that were on all our matatu rides.

Last year he broke the internet after announcing the end of his 7-year relationship after proposing to Sonnie Kangai in 2017 in Dubai. We had been waiting with anticipation for the wedding, but sadly this didn’t happen.

We got a hold of DJ Kalonje in an exclusive interview by KISS where he revealed the reasons as to why their relationship had to end that way.

we tried and things did not work out then I went ahead to post it on social media which got me in trouble with my followers. I tried to clean up my CV by posting another picture of the two of us but sadly the ship has already sailed.

So what next for Kalonje in terms of love?

‘to be honest, I am dating someone right now so for now, no wedding stories.’ So you’ve moved on? ‘what do you mean, that same night, there is no time to waste’

This is a shock considering the fact that it did not take long for him to find someone else to warm his bed.

This year seems to be a big one for him. Other than finding new love, he is set to launch community projects and also expand on his deejay academy school. He also promised his fans that he will be doing a few projects with various artistes so wait for that.
