Akothee’s sister Cebbie Koks is the kind of friend you need in your circle!

This is after the sassy lady took to Instagram to defend her friend, Jalang’o, from those accusing him of ‘exploiting’ Kenyans.

Cebbie was responding to a certain post of a guy who called Jalang’o a ‘predator’ for ‘exploiting his fans for free designs’

For those of you who have no clue, last week, Jalang’o announced he will be launching Jalang’o TV having seen his YouTube channel grow tremendously.

As a preparation, he asked his fans, those with epic graphic design skills to design a dope Jalang’o TV logo, offering a Ksh 10,000 as reward for the best logo.

According to the critic, Jalang’o could have easily paid a decent amount of money for the said logo.

This did not go well with Cebbie and she termed it as ‘the most backward thinking’ she has come across.

Cebbie said she was in the market for a graphic designer and from Jalang’o’s post, she got herself one.

She encouraged Kenyans to stop playing around and always be ready to jump into such opportunities, and always be ready to showcase their talents.

Read her passionate post below,

The most Backward thinking I have come across this morning.
Look,Honestly speaking , If we see this as an exploitation then I come from a different planet. For me, I’ll always jump into any opportunity that come my way to showcase my Skills and talents even if I don’t succeed. Always be an opportunist. Those are the people that grow…
Vijana, tuwache mchezo bana. There’s nothing wrong with participating in such. Someone somewhere needs your services and they may never know you exist if you don’t put yourself out there. I pair with the 5

She added,

Ps: Preparation, Packaging,Position,Practice and Perspective. Additionally, that’s a serendipitous space that should even exite you more to show the world what you got. You got free marketing there. It depends with how you look at it and whether you win or not, you shall have learnt something and improved something. You’ll agree with me that the more interviews you do, the better you become.

Let nobody mislead you. Do as many as possible. I was literally looking for A graphic designer and just from that , I got one. Mtu asikudanganye. There’s no jobs and you lose nothing showcasing your talents whether free or paid.
WIN-WIN for you and not anyone. Exploit Jalas space , you needed it.

However, Cebbie later on pulled down the post which had started to gain some traction but no one knows why.
