This Meme Is a Satire to Every Headshot Picture Taken

2 min read

I am in this picture and I don’t like it. People have always taken professional photos for their organisations. The photos are usually done in a certain style – specifically showing your head and shoulders and in a tilted way. This photo of a monkey in a suit went viral as it makes fun of this vanilla way of taking a headshot.

this is every journalist headshot pic.twitter.com/4SxZTgpn1k

This one describes this pose well

It's the "serious, but uncomfortable" look we are all so familiar with. https://t.co/bOJptwWOmy

Every person who has ever taken a headshot felt attacked.

I just looked at this and then looked at my profile picture and I am… so mad https://t.co/KRKtKQRn6B

Others suggested what kind of stories would be written by the monkey

This monkey looks like it is the host of a vice documentary in midst of a cultural safari in japan's sex tourism industry where schoolgirls are for sale and over-pronounces 'konnichiwa' when speaking to asian people https://t.co/QtqkZzIzJ3
