Wazito maintained top spot in the National Super League(NSL) with a 2-0 win over Fortune Sacco on Sunday.

Four clubs are angling to finish on a high as the 2018/19 campaign second leg intensifies.

Nairobi Stima picked their 14th win of the season with a 0-1 victory at City Stars while Kisumu All Stars and Ushuru played to a barren draw on Saturday.

Only two points separate leaders Wazito and second-placed Nairobi. Kisumu All Stars are third with 62 points as Ushuru close the top four with 60 points.

Kisumu head coach Frank Oduor praised his charges for a perfect display saying they are hopeful their dreams of landing a premier league promotion will become a reality.

“We played well against a solid side that is also hoping to finish top. For us to make it to the top league then we have to work harder and ensure we don’t lose.”
