The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) boss Nick Mwendwa has been forced to go back to the drawing board after the Sports Dispute Tribunal nullified federations elections which were scheduled to be held this Saturday at the Kasarani Gymnasium.
In a ruling delivered Tuesday, chairman of the tribunal John Ohaga ordered for a fresh election saying there was no sufficient public participation on the elections.
Ohaga also ruled that FKF’s Electoral Board which was to oversee the elections was not properly constituted.
The tribunal also cancelled FKF county elections which were conducted last week in all the 47 counties.

Forrmer FKF chairman Sam Nyamweya together with Alex Ole Magelo, Steve Mburu and Moses Akaranga had filed two cases challenging the validity of the elections and the composition of FKF’s Electoral Board chaired by Edwin Wamukoya.
FKF had confirmed that world soccer governing body Fifa had sent two representatives to supervise the elections this weekend.
Mwendwa said that they will adhere to the directive and will organize another election by April, next year.
