Two dead, two blind after drinking illicit brew in Mutindwa – Nairobi News

Two people have died while two others lost their sight after drinking alcohol at a wines and spirit in Mutindwa, Nairobi.
The two blind victims are admitted at Mama Lucy Hospital.
The owners of the four wines and spirits will be arraigned before Makadara Law Court.
“Two people lost their lives two are in Mama Lucy Hospital getting medical attention. We managed to arrest the owners of two wines and spirits and a manufacturer of counterfeit liquor in Umoja operation led by liquor committee area MP, MCA ,deputy OCPD, chief and area residents,” said a witness.
Area MCA Mark Mugambi, who was part of the raid on Thursday said that four people have died, two from Umoja and another two from Kayole, while another two have lost their eyesight.
His position was corroborated by MP George Theuri who also says the death toll is at four.
