We've called off nurses strike, Panyako tells court

Seth Panyako has told the court that he has called off the countrywide nurses strike

He was in court on Tuesday to show cause why he should not be held in contempt for disobeying orders stopping the strike.

Panyako told Justice Nelson Abuodha that the strike was called off and further defended himself alleging that he was never served with the court papers.

The judge cautioned him not to disobey court orders in future.

The court has discharged all KNUN officials from the contempt since the strike has been called off.
