‘Why are they attending secular shows’ Akothee calls out gospel artistes

Controversial singer Akothee says that her relationship with God is so tight despite all your assumptions based on the dramas surrounding her.

Akothee spoke to Mzazi M Tvua after Size 8 came in studio saying she would love Akothee to get saved because she is influential and she believes the word will reach a lot of people because of her boldness.

However, the Abebo hitmaker says she is not ready to join the gospel industry any time soon because there is a lot of restrictions there yet she is a ‘do what I want’ type of lady.

It is someones wish to be a gospel artiste, and the reason I will not join gospel industry soon is because of the rules like you should not dress in this manner

Aside from that, the fact that many gospel artistes are usually at the front row of secular events and vice versa does not apply is a problem to her.

I have an issue with the gospel artiste though, why are they attending secular shows because I have met several gospel artistes in Tribeka club so many time. They think am so evil but they will be surprised to find some of us in heaven

Last week, the singer got some online backlash for what critics termed as misbehavior on stage after she posted photos from her a previous performance.

The songstress strongly told off her critics and claimed she was nobody’s role model. Others, however, supported the mother of five adding she was living her life and that haters should just mind their own business.

As I always say, nothing can stop Akothee from doing her and that is why she will not join gospel artistes.
