70 arrested with fake KDF calling letters at Moi Barracks Recruits Training College in Eldoret

Seventy people have been arrested for presentation fake KDF calling letters at the Moi Barracks Recruits Training College in Eldoret.

The suspects were arrested as they reported yesterday at the college for admission to start training.

 KDF spokesman  Colnel Paul Njoroje said the suspects would be handed over the police for Investigations into how they got the fake calling letters.

Many of those arrested say they paid bribes of upto sh 300,000 to get the fake calling letters.

He said anyone who did not go through the the official recruitment exercise countrywide would not be allowed to join the college.
