Wednesday January 16, 2019 - National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale, has rubbished claims that he has abandoned Deputy President (DP) William Ruto and his 2022 Presidential ambitions.

Speaking to journalists in Garissa Town on Monday, Duale lashed out at a section of media outlets and political analysts, accusing them of spreading propaganda that he has abandoned Ruto going by his recent silence in light of the ongoing debate over Ruto’s Presidential bid in 2022. According to Duale, claims that he is running away from DP Ruto are pure propaganda and that he is in good terms with DP Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He noted that his relationship with Ruto cannot be compromised, not even by propagandists out to create a wedge between him and the DP.

“I am the voice of the Jubilee Party in the National Assembly and as such, I have an obligation to be in good terms with both the president and his deputy for the Government agenda to be realized,” Duale stated.
