Branch International issued a $5 million commercial paper in July.

Branch international issued a commercial paper of US$ 5 million commercial paper ( Ksh 500million). This was the fourth commercial paper that Branch International has issued. The investment will be used to expand its services in Kenya.

The commercial paper was issued at a period when the firm announced the repayment of its third commercial paper of US $5 million. The total capital raised locally by branch international since its first commercial paper issuance in 2017 will be more than 15 million USD.

Branch International has also made a partnership with Visa and had a $170 million fresh funding. Additionally, IFC invested in KSh309 million into the Micro lender. Branch International has also been making strides by expanding into India.
