Ronaldo de Lima has named the players he loves to watch as he brushed aside Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo despite his exploits in Serie A.
The Real Madrid legend who had a blistering career in Spain and Italy confessed the new generation of players he likes.
Speaking to Spanish news media outlet AS, the 1994 and 2002 World Cup winner had no place for the Portuguese icon.
Ronaldo went on to elaborate on his choice of Mbappe, who many has said has a similar style of play with him.
"He has a lot of speed, he finishes well, he has great movements, he hits excellent with both legs, he has an incredible stride," Ronaldo continued.
"We have similar things, but I never liked comparisons, especially between players of different generations, because the situations are different."
"Messi, of course, he is number one, it is a talent that we will take 20 or 30 years to see something similar."
“I also like (Mohamed) Salah, (Eden) Hazard, Neymar, I love watching him play, and of course (Kylian) Mbappe.”
