Coach dies from COVID-19 days 3 days after wedding

– Lionel Appiah Budu aka Kobby Lionels wedded over the weekend after which he fell ill and was rushed to the hospital

– Doctors dagnosed him with the dreaded coronavirus but it was too late to save his life as he breathed his last on July 7

– He had also been a personal trainer to many influential figures including corporate gurus and expatriates

Popular Ghanaian fitness and aerobics coach, Lionel Appiah Budu, popularly known as Kobby Lionels has died.

Reports have it that the affable personal trainer died from coronavirus after he got infected and it was not established when he contracted the virus.

Kobi tied the knot with his long time girlfriend over the weekend and died only three days after the sweet ceremony.

He became ill and was taken to the hospital only to be diagnosed with being a carrier of the dreaded COVID-19 virus.

After his short struggle with the virus, he gave up the ghost on July 7, leaving behind his newly-married wife.

Social media was filled with heartfelt messages from friends and loved ones.

Checks on his social media handles prove he was really good at his job, as he was seen engaging in corporate fitness for big brands in the country.

He had also been a personal trainer to many influential figures including corporate gurus and expatriates.
