- The Barcelona star is on the verge of leaving the Spanish side this summer
- Coutinho is now said to be preferring a move to PSG or Chelsea
- The Blues' transfer ban remains an obstacle that is likely to prevent Coutinho's move to Chelsea
Barcelona attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho is reportedly interested in making a return to the Premier League with Manchester United one of the clubs after the Brazilian ace.
The 27-year-old would prefer Chelsea or PSG as opposed to joining Manchester United out of respect for his former club, who share fierce old rivalry with the Old Trafford dwellers.
But according to transfer expert Duncan Castles, Coutinho favors a move to Stamford Bridge over Old Trafford but is likely to find himself at Parc De Princess, who he has been offered to.
“Philippe Coutinho, also interest from Manchester United. Not as intense as the pursuit of Rakitic.
“Definite interest from Paris St-Germain, who he’s been offered to. Coutinho’s obviously represented by a couple of agents who have very strong links to Chelsea, have done a huge number of deals to that club,'' Castles said according to Express (UK).

However the Blues' transfer ban by FIFA is a potential obstacle which could block Coutinho from joining Chelsea as they can't register any player until after two years.
"The briefing I had last week was that Coutinho’s preference would be to go to Chelsea rather than Paris St-Germain.
“But of course, dependent on the transfer-window ban being lifted, which it looks almost certain not to happen.
Since his move to Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018, the Brazilian football star has struggled to impress at the Nou Camp.
Philippe Coutinho was booed by Barcelona fans in their Champions League semifinal second leg clash against Liverpool in which he failed to impress.
And since then, he has been linked with a move to Manchester United and French champions Paris-Saint-Germain.
