Five suspected armed robbers in Mombasa arrested – KBC

Police in Mombasa have arrested five suspects in connection with a robbery in Aldina and Makande area.

The five are among a group that was captured by a CCTV camera robbing a lady while armed with a pistol before taking off on a motorbike.

The five suspects include Brighton Naiya Manyala, Mohamed Hassan, Chris Odhiambo Omondi, Evans Munyoki Mburiro and  Mutonyi Nzamba-were captured on CCTV camera robbing a lady at gunpoint.

They are later seen walking casually before taking off on a motorbike.

Elsewhere, a group of gunmen ambushed a businessman as he opened his Mpesa shop and robbed him before shooting him dead.

Police also managed to recover two motorcycles-one used as a getaway during the robbery. Police say they on a trail of other suspects involved in the killing of the business.
