Former Attorney general and cabinet minister Charles Mugane Njonjo is dead. According to his family Njonjo died on Sunday morning at his home in Muthaiga, Nairobi at the age of 101 years. Njonjo was the only surviving member of the independence Cabinet of founding President Jomo Kenyatta.
