ManKind made it on time for Breakfast With The Stars on Kiss Fm with Adelle and Shaffie much to the excitement of their fans.
The last time they were on Kiss Fm was just after they were signed in to Pine Creek, and years alter they have learnt alot, and secured the bag they say.
we have learned a lot and made a bit of money.
teamwork, communication, and patience are major lessons we have scooped after signing in to the label. you do not get what you want when you want
Before they signed into Pine Creek, they had a team comprised of friends, but things had to change. No bad blood though.
initially, they were working with friends up until they got professionals who know so many things in the music business. we are still friends. Most are doing great including their former manager who is now a super engineer.
ManKind’s musical journey is one full of memories. They talked about their experience in Zanzibar where they shot a film and a song for it.
One memory they had is meeting this old guy who was always on one spot and spoke in slow motion. He was always asking them if they are okay. They even doubted he was high
Considering the fact that these two boys got A’s from the famous school, Maranda High what do their parents have to say on the fact that they did not proceed with school right after?
the perception has changed. they now respect us because they can see we are making money out of the craft. we add on to paying bills and shopping
‘I once performed to a bartender and a bouncer’ Steph Kapela narrates
After listening to their song, Adelle says the song is powerful from the vocals to the lyrics and she loves it.
To ManKind, this song is more of a prophecy,
The song feels more like a prophecy because they want a certain level of success and fame as artistes. Confessing that one day they will be the best version of themselves.
So what do they think is the worst part of fame,
the worst part of fame is that you lose privacy. People forget that you’re normal.
The punchline of the whole interview was that people should see them as normal people,
we don’t always have to have our sh*t together
