Wednesday January,2019-A contingent of regular and GSU officers have sealed  off Guango estate in Ruaka, where the vehicle said to have been used in the Dusait D2 Hotel attack is said to have been spotted several times.
According to Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), one of the terrorists is believed to have been staying in house No E9 in Guango Estate.  The terrorist, who was killed by our gallant soldiers on Wednesday morning is said to have rented the house in March last year and he was paying a monthly rent of Sh 50,000. He was among four terrorists who struck Dusait Hotel and killed 14 people and injured hundreds. A guard who spoke to journalists on condition of anonymity said the owner of the car was jovial. "He used to wear T-shirts and greet us," he said. The guard said the terrorist had a wife but the guard did not see any child. There are more than 200 houses in the area that is served by rough road. Security officers have already declared the house as a crime scene and no media is allowed near the building.
