Deputy President William Ruto has appointed Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura to his national campaign team.
His appointment was announced by Deputy President William Ruto through his official Twitter handle on Monday 25th April.
DP Ruto said that Mwaura will be taking up two roles at the Kenya Kwanza national campaign – he will be the team leader in Kiambu County and will also be the team’s liaison with people living with disabilities.
He praised Mwaura for accepting the defeat he suffered in their competitive UDA nominations.
“Welcome Hon Isaac Mwaure the Kenya Kwanza national campaign. Your magnanimity to accept the outcome of our just concluded party nominations in Ruiru Constituency adds to your leadership credentials,” the DP tweeted.
“I wish you well in your new role as team leader in Kiambu County and also in the community of people living with disabilities.”
