Having a blended family during these tough times when countries are battling coronavirus is tough.

It’s even much tougher when parents to the kids are keeping in touch.

Such a scenario is that of ‘Chum Chum’ hitmaker Vivianne and her husband Sam West.

Vivianne has a daughter from a previous marriage while Sam has a son.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Sam said he is lucky that his mother’s son is not in the country at the moment.

‘In a blended family, there never lacks ‘issues’.

Such include constantly being asked if you are taking care of the kid properly.

Whether they have washed their hands or not among many other things.’

Sam added,

‘The mother might want to spend time with the child but luckily for me, she (baby mama) is not in the country at the moment.

Blended families are good because you have double/triple inputs from all parents.’

All is not lost below are things one can do during quarantine.

  • Play games.
  • Try cooking new recipes.
  • Help cleaning the house, utensils among other things.
  • Working out- You wouldn’t want to come out of quarantine  looking all fat.
  • Read books, magazines or even the bible.
