TUKO.co.ke has learnt some of the gay men in Juja town and its outskirts have been living openly as couples, a move that does not portray a good picture.
Pastor Jackson Njoroge of the Empowering People Gods Ministry, who is one of the area residents revealed the vice has been on the rise despite efforts by his church to hold meetings with youths in the area to shun it.
The pastor who was speaking in a security meeting held in the area on Tuesday, April 9, wondered who will marry their daughters with the rising cases of homosexuality.
“We know a gay couple. They live a quiet life and mostly engage in farming. No one dares talk to them since they seem to always be under the influence of drugs,” Njoroge said.

“The practice is gaining prominence as more and more men are being lured into the act. We fear that we might lose an entire generation because who shall marry our young girls when our men concentrate on marrying each other, the government and the church should intervene,” he added.
His sentiments were echoed by Juja Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) Charles Mureithi who put those practicing homosexuality in Juja town and its outskirts on notice, holding his administration will not tolerate the vice in area.
