Kenyan Premier League side Kakamega Homeboyz has bought a new bus.
Kakamega Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula revealed that the bus is worth Sh18 million.
"There is no team in KPL which has ever acquired such a bus. It's as comfortable as a tour vehicle," Shimanyula told Nation Sport.
He added that the bus was just a motivational perk for the club and more goodies were on the way if the team wins the league.
Homeboyz, who are sponsored by Kakamega County Government, were second on the KPL log with 47 points, seven behind leaders Gor Mahia when the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Apart from Homeboyz and Wazito owned by tycoon Ricardo Badoer, AFC Leopards also own an expensive bus.
