Kenya pipeline qualifies for volleyball championship quarter finals

Kenya pipeline women volleyball team advanced to the quarter finals of the ongoing Africa club championship in Cairo Egypt Tuesday evening after claiming three straight sets win over Shooting of Egypt in a group ‘C’ encounter.

The Kenyan side claimed a 25-15 victory in the first set before winning the second by 25 to 17.

The seven-time Africa club champions then claimed a 25- 21 win in the third set to advance to the quarter finals.

Kenya Pipeline will play their final group ‘C’ game this afternoon against FAP of Cameroon; which also cruised through to the quarter finals.

Other Kenyan teams in the contest KCB and Kenya Prisons might qualify for the finals Wednesday night if they register wins over Carthage of Tunisia and El Shams of Egypt, respectively.
