Konki Liquid awarded ticket to attend AFCON days after invite to UK

Tanzanian Pierre Konki Liquid has been awarded a ticket to attend the African Cup of Nations 2019, (AFCON) in Egypt.

Speaking after being invited to parliament in Dodoma,  Konki thanked the Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa for giving him an opportunity of a lifetime.

His luck comes a few days after Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama invited him to the UK to visit him in an all-paid expenses trip.

Pierre Konki rose to fame after a video of him in a pub drunk surfaced online repeatedly saying ‘Mama nakufa’ and from then on warmed the hearts of many with his jokes.

The slang ‘Mama nakufa’ has become very popular in Tanzanian with artists such as Rayvanny incorporating it in their songs.

However not many think the comedian should get the attention he is being given

Tanzanian politician, Baba Keagana says Konki is just but an alcoholic.
