- Liverpool could welcome the return of Salah and Becker for the Old Trafford trip
- The pair is understood to be in contention for a starting role after recovering from injuries
- Becker has been nursing a calf injury suffered during his side's EPL opener against Norwich
Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and goalkeeper Alisson Becker are both lined up to make a return against Man United when the two sides face off on Sunday, October 20, at Old Trafford.
Becker has been sidelined for weeks now after picking injury during Liverpool's Premier League opening match against Norwich City.
The Brazilian lasted less than 40 minutes of the match before limping off with a calf problem after taking a quick free kick.
His place was taken up by summer signing Adrian, who has been guarding the post since then.
Becker, however, now appear ready to return to action, with talkSPORT reporting the shot-stopper is already fit for the Old Trafford trip.
He could be joined by Salah in the starting XI, with the Egyptian understood to have recovered from an ankle injury picked just before the international break.
The Reds will be hoping to continue with their impressive form after managing to collect 24 points from eight matches.
The string of good results has them sitting on the summit, with their opponents trailing by 15 points.
