Former champions Mathare United have taken pole position after the first round of the new 2018-2019 Kenyan Premier League season played over the weekend across the country.
Mathare United sit at the top of the table with three points after beating Chemelil Sugar 2-0 on Saturday.
Mathare have the same record with second placed Vihiga United who also beat Ulinzi Stars 2-0 on Sunday.
Bandari got their season off to a winning start by beating champions Gor Mahia 2-1 on Saturday and are third on the table, with the same record as 4th placed Sofapaka who defeated Nakumatt 2-1.

Kakamega Homeboyz, Nzoia Sugar and Western Stima registered 1-0 wins over KCB, Zoo Kericho and Posta Rangers respectively and line up in positions 5 to 7 on three points each.
Kariobangi Sharks, AFC Leopards and Sony Sugar drew their weekend matches and have a point each in positions 8 to 10 respectively.
Zoo Kericho, Chemelil Sugar and Ulinzi Stars are the bottom three sides after round one.
